3.3 Monitoring
Southern Miss. employees shall have no expectation of privacy (exception Student email) in anything they store, send or receive on the universities email system. Mississippi “Public Record Act” states that this email information is Public record and anyone can request copies at anytime. Southern Miss. may monitor messages without prior notice. Southern Miss. is not obliged to monitor email messages.
